Description
This course provides an overview of the various ways in which horse production is organized, considering key aspects such as management, feeding, reproduction, and animal welfare. Throughout the course, extensive, intensive, and semi-intensive systems are presented clearly and practically, to understand how each one works and in what contexts they can be developed. In addition, basic concepts of sustainability and best practices are addressed, fostering a holistic view of equine production.
