This course comprehensively addresses the principles and practices of pastoral systems in equine production, with a focus on the analysis, design, and improvement of breeding, management, and reproduction systems. Through an approach based on animal welfare and sustainability, extensive, intensive, and semi-intensive systems are explored, highlighting their advantages, disadvantages, and optimization strategies. The course combines theoretical concepts and practical applications to maximize efficiency and productivity in different equine production contexts.
