Description

This conference brings together key topics to understand how nutritional, reproductive, genetic, and biomechanical management influence equine development, health, and performance. It will explore the impact of nutrition in pregnant mares on fetal growth, placental quality, and the future development of the foal, along with clinical strategies for the nutritional management of senior horses, mares, and stallions.
The conference will also examine nutrition in horses in training as a tool to support recovery, energy balance, muscle development, and digestive health in high-performance sporting environments. In addition, it will provide an up-to-date perspective on genomics, horse breeding, and precision biomechanics, offering technical criteria to support better decision-making in the management of high-level performance horses.
Target audience: breeders, students, equine enthusiasts, and professionals.
