Description

This course offers a technical and practical approach to the design and management of equine facilities, ranging from pasture-based systems to specialized confinement. Throughout the program, the principles of animal welfare, biosecurity, and operational efficiency will be analyzed, with the aim of optimizing the environment in which horses live and work. Key topics will be covered, such as the planning of stalls, perimeter enclosures, training and handling areas, as well as the influence of design on equine health and behavior.
