Description

This course provides specialized training in mare reproductive management, addressing both the physiological foundations of the estrous cycle and the clinical application of hormones and protocols for ovulation induction, synchronization, and treatment of reproductive pathologies. Strategies to optimize the timing of mating or insemination, the use of drugs such as prostaglandins, hCG, and GnRH analogs, and the clinical approach to anestrus and seasonal transition will be explored in depth. Reproductive emergencies in females and males, techniques to improve efficiency in embryo transfer programs, and practical cases that integrate diagnosis, treatment, and decision-making in the field will be analyzed.
