Description
This course offers a comprehensive overview of equine production systems, covering both the fundamental aspects of horse breeding and management, as well as the design and optimization of pastoral systems. Different production models (extensive, intensive, and semi-intensive) will be explored, analyzing their impact on equine health, well-being, and productivity. Through an approach based on sustainability and animal welfare, participants will acquire tools to critically evaluate current practices and propose improvement strategies in different production contexts.
